Communication Policy

Purpose: The purpose of this policy it to ensure that all public and media communications by members
representing the Society are conducted in agreement with Society’s current goals and objectives.
Furthermore, such communications shall not bind or commit the society without the Board of Directors’
consent.

1. Any media inquires received by members, including Board members, shall be directed to the
   Board of Directors.
2. The Board of Directors shall grant permission to members before they make public statements
   to media on behalf of the Society.
3. Any such public statements made by members must be in alignment with current goals and
   objectives of the Society, and all such statements must be made in the best interest of the
   Society.
